Rig trailer wheel track

How wide is the track (outside of outside tire to outside of outside tire) on a class 8 truck?



I am making up two sets of chocks for the delivery trucks with chains so vandals can't steal them. I just need to know the widest width out there, is it close to 8 feet?

If the chocks are for the tractor, they will most likely be 96", but if they are for the trailers, the width can be up to 102".

Kinda did it an easier way. I secured one chock to the end of the chain through its tie-down hole and then took the other and just passed the chain though it. So one is fixed at one end, the other is adjustable by sliding it. Should work, now I just need 30 feet more of chain to secure it to the dock!
