JCrockett said:Well I installed the Sensor and from what I can tell the milage had went down. I took it out tonight and will see if it makes any difference. Going to be hard to tell with winter blend fuel and cold weather upon us though.

another gentlemen posted the same thing a short while back and i asked him if he followed the direction carefully and held it as the directions said while tightening. when he came back he re-did it and made sure he did and then he saw an improvement. Just thought i would see if you had or not. it may be the reason. there is a possibility too that your tone ring was set to the advanced side when Juan Valdez and his mule installed it so you may be at the point of being over advanced. without knowing your mileage before it is hard to say but if you check it and it is installed properly listen to the motor and see if you notice it pinging which is a sign of over advanced timing. if it is pinging and your mileage was good to start you can try backing it off a bit by holding it slightly back from the described position.![]()
BLACK PEARL said:I remember when I first bought my truck (used with 13000 miles) the exhaust had a funny exhaust smell. After I installed the Rokk CPS, the first thing I notice was a different smell in the exhaust, now it smells like a real diesel truck. Any one else think the exhaust oder has changed or do I need to go inhale more Diesel exhaust fumes![]()
