I say do it, but you may want to listen to the other little voices that have been telling you "don't do it, Gene. He will beat you. Gene, you cannot win. "
Just save yourself the grief and leave your twins on. You have nowhere to go but down pulling against me, Gene. While I, on the other hand, have everything to gain when I beat you.
Lets think about this...
WHEN I win...
I pull into the Lee's Inn parking lot that night after the pull, and a hush falls over the crowd that has gathered to drink and tell war stories. They all gawk at me as I pull in, whispering to each other " Hey, its Jim, the guy that totally smashed Sled Puller tonight. " Whispers continue as I pick my stall and back in. I shut the truck down, and people gather around wanting to touch the truck and talk to the driver and ask for autographs. I climb out and the crowd CHEERS... "HAIL SLED PULLER SLAYER!!" At which point I immediately declare my retirement, and you continue on pulling, loosing your grip on reality, slowly fading from the pulling scene, and growing old and becoming a (more) bitter old man than you already are.
IF You win...
You pull back into Lee's Inn, and a crowd has gathered, waiting to tell you what a retard you are for going back to a single just so you could pull in my class (and barely) beat me...
Keep your twins on Gene...
Thanks, Jim:-laf
