I wouldn't stay there. Two reasons: it's a 1950's hell hole in the dumpy side of Muncie and it's probably 45 minutes to an hour away from the action.

I also have a reservation in Anderson but thats even further out.

Not really, the drive time is all highway from Anderson (Exit 26, maybe 25 minutes?). Super 8 said they have rooms left in Muncie.

There is a Super 8 off of exit 34. The exit for State Road 28 is 45. The fairgrounds isn't very far off of the highway.

I'm in Bristol, IN lots, Muncie ain't only a coupla hours, gonna try and make it this year. Wanna watch my DOC, Dave's Diesel run & pull. Watched him build it today. . . this is exciting. Liable to be some surprises.

Work got in the way of May Madness; so going to TiM instead. Works out good; and I couldn't reconcile a TDR rally w/o pulling anyways!



On Campgrounds: Big Oaks is full. Mounds State Park looks quite nice; and the Indiana State Park on-line reservation system works great. So I have reservations at Mounds -- 20 miles from Muncie. I have the family along too; so that's a good spot for them to be able to do other things.



So... what's the competition like in the street class?
