EB is right, I'm just returning from my first delivery with the BrakeSmart, 3,000 miles round trip. Knew the first hunnert feet I should have been towing with this controller the last couple years. Prodigy was pretty good, bout the best of the inertia's I've used. You really won't know unless you test drive a vehicle with the controller's your considering. If I weren't haulin daily I doubt I'd have popped for the difference. Prodigy is certainly good enough for what RV towing most people do. But if you tow daily, expecially if you tow a variety of trailers, BrakeSmart would be my recommendation. If you don't have EGT & Boost guages installed yet, BrakeSmart can (optionally) display this information and cuts down on the number of guages you need to find room for.
Cheers,
Steve J.
