2004 Durango questions.

So, you want to get a CDL?

Can anyone give me an idea of what the weather is like in San Diego in December? Girlfriend wants to go to Seaworld for her birthday, which is in August. But do to money constraints I will not be able to afford it then. But I was thinking December would be O. K. and also is there any time of year that is less crowded at Seaworld?

Thanks!!

It can be pretty hot in August depends on the cycle of the weather. Can be like 85-90 or so and a little humid sometimes. Some night and morning fog if it is cool enough.

Winter in San diego doesn't start til like december but then it is still ok, can be hot or rain, depends on the weather cycle..... . like 70-80 day and 40-50 at nght. Even if it is raining, it is like over 70 deg.

Sea World is neat, they put Shamu and a few others in a new stadium and don't forget to go see the Clydsdales in the eastern part of the park. sometimes they hook them up to the wagon and tool them around a bit.

If you are able to go to sea world on a weekday, like monday or turesday, almost any of them has less crowds.

Remember to also go to the world famous San Diego Zoo. there are alot of interresting animals in there, pretty big... ... .

Have fun and don't forget the sunscreen!!

Thank you EricBu12. That's the type of info I was looking for. We already figured that we would make sure to be in the park during the week! Don't know if we'll have time for the zoo though ( work and vacation time ). But that just leaves another reason to go back soon!

Bone man,

There is a multi story mall in the center of downtown, I don't know what is there but should be something good there.

If you want a Fancy restaurant, Mr. "A"'s on I think 6th ave.

Around the bay little is a Sternwheeler resatuarant. The Reuben E. Lee. At shelter Island, <---Fancy foods but good and not bad price.

There are a number of Seafood restauants along the waterfront as well... ...

You should be able to find brochoures in the terminal or at the hotel you are staying at.

I've always found So Cal to be the best in the winter, summertime is often foggy. Best check with Sea World though, some attractions and shows shut down for the slow times of the year.

I live about 20 miles north of San Diego. The weather in December is great if it is not raining. It usually does not rain that much being a desert and all. The coast can get over cast sometimes. Right now we are having June gloom, which means over cast on the coast and inland too.

Horton Square is the big downtown shopping center. There are a lot of good restaurants in the Gaslamp area of city. Don't forget the Wild Animal Park which is part of the zoo, but inland and well worth seeing. During part of December it is open at night. The animals are loose in a big area and you view them by tram.

For beers there is a local brewery that makes a ale called "Arrogant ******* Ale" it's great. There are a bunch of other breweries here too.

San Diego has a lot of tourist areas.
