shop installed adj Moog ball joints, can't get it right, what to do?

... has anyone had to take up Carli on their warranty for the uppers ?

Here's the latest. Driving home from work yesterday, encountered rr crossing and truck immediately went into the dreaded death wobble. Got home and inspected both stabilizers and concluded no problems with either; so, i installed each in the manner they came off.



Since i didn't have a camera, hope i can explain this without too much confusion. After installing both stabilizers, I noticed the end of the bolt (used to mount the shaft end of each stabilizer to the inner bracket) was in contact with the center steering linkage. Thinking this might be causing some binding in the steering, I removed the bracket and re-installed each bolt, heads facing up so there would be no contact with the steering linkage.



Afterwards, I drove the truck about 10 miles down the interstate and was impressed with the results; the wandering and steering stiffness was reduced dramatically. Maybe an allignment will yield even better results?



Anyway, this morning I was feeling pretty good about the results of last night's efforts but still had concerns with the DW i experienced yesterday. Hoping the stabilizers corrected this, I drove across the same RR crossing and although not as severe as yesterday, the front end began to shimmy. I guess it's back to the drawing board!

I have approx. 40K on the Moog adjustable ball joints. No problems so far. Positive camber is the answer.
