yeah, too much

I wouldn't recommend stock power levels. My 235 (stock HP) was all over the (wet) road last night.

You might want to defuel it below stock just to be safe. Restrict the exhaust and pull the turbo too. And stay off wet streets.

That way your tires/transmission/clutch last forever and you don't have screaming/crying passengers to deal with.

NOT!

Sick of all this power, I'm going back to below stock

I'm going back below stock also, installing a 1-1/2" exhaust system with cat and muffler from a Subaru, figure that ought to choke it down pretty good. Anybody want a SS 4" exhaust?

I'm hoping for 50% better mileage. I just converted my 6BTA to a 4BTA. I took out those rearmost 4 pain in the butt pushrods. Now the rear two cyls are not consuming any fuel. There are a few strange noises, It sounds like the lifters ratteling around in there. I'm hoping it will go away after a while. I got this idea from Cadillac. :)

Not as young as I used to be. Need to slow down and enjoy life more as I go by it. Enough of this diesel stuff for me... I'm going to a 4 cylinder engine from the 70's. Should be able to cure that neck problem due to acceleration. Can't cut corners on your health.
