I was thinking more along the lines of a 4BT swap....

A marinized 4BT would be to heavy for a small boat. It would be similar to having two or three big guys standing at the very rear of the boat all the time. I had two in my 3388 Bayliner that we owned for 19 years. Snoking

Another thing to consider, is to only use non ethanol gas in it. Out here our marinas have it and a hand full of shore side outlets. I currently get it from a Farmers Coop for our golf cart, quad, scooter, chain saw, pressure washer etc.

Got any connections at BGR or Old Town? Not only is AV gas ethanol free it's also low lead, as opposed to no lead.

Well, new float and filter on fuel pump installed. Must have got the float set right 'cause it starts without touching the throttle on a warm start now...put the carb on in the dark holding a Little Larry LED flashlight with the clip between my teeth...determination damn it...

Crack her wide open now and the boat rocks hard....we are getting all 135 ponies now!!!!!
