Sorry to sound ignorant (but I am on this) but what does the added timing do on each setting for a truck with no other bombs?

Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing... How many degrees of timing?

Chevys run 24+ on the top end... And I know the TST does 12* at all in (regular program)

Maybe OK to stack with both doing timing?

Or is that a BIG no-no?

Tomeygun,

The VP Smarty comes with and without added timing for the same power levels.

The CR Smarty will do the same. That means, Smarty has TWO XX Hp softwares, with or without added timing. Of course, torque management is a MUST in ALL softwares. BTW, TQM is not a on or off thing like someone makes it sound... .

No matter what kinda box you want to stack, Smarty has the right software for it. We're still optimizing the softwares. I'm still fine tuning Smarty's softwares for TST's box. ( I'm working full steam!)

If you want to, use Smarty's software without added timing and fine tune the timing for your needs with the PowerMax CR. Or was that the other way arround? :D

Hopefully, I'll find the time tomorrow for a more complete update!

Marco

I never did get any answers to my previous post. possibly got lost in the mail so to speak. .

1. What about RPM increases to 4000-ish? Later versions?

2. Why does removing the 3rd injection event increase EGT and decrease power? Could you not move the main event around a little?

3. Removal of 1st event? (looking for the 24 valve sound here).

4. WOT emissions backdown. When you just jump on the go peddle the ECU doesn't give 100%, you have to roll into things. is this more so a pressure issue? or just programmed in backdown?

5. I'm not sure (lazy mostly) but I'm sure the 108mph limit removal is in place as well?

6. what other control over the dodge computer do you have? can you program in the ability to change how the doors are lock (placed in gear, 15mph) and all that other little neat trucks they do these days. .

Marco, maybe you have covered it before, but I will ask anyway. :D Why is it not possible to just build a box that would make enough power that there would be no need to stack?

People have asked it before about other brands and have never gotten an answer to my knowledge. It just seems like if you can get that much power from stacking that with a custom tune you should be able to get just as much from one box

i haven't heard anything lately about the high idle for the 03-04 trucks??? Is it in there?

YES, high idle for manual trans for 4. 5 and earlier. I won't mind jumping that pin on the ECU. but if the software doesn't have a clue, what's the point?...

Does anyone know the date the Smarty for the 06 truck will come out?? Im not sure how long I can drive without it... ..... :{

Smarty people? (no pun intended). Guys have any answers to these questions?

Jason they are not going to release any more information until they finalize the product, so the company don't jump on the band wagon. So the Smarty people can say their the First. be patient until the product is release. Don't worry we are all waiting for the release.

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick...

Waiting patiently here!

I'll be getting mine overnighted. I can't wait to test the limits of my new OFE :-laf

If what I've heard is right, I may be switching back to a dual disc

I wonder if you ran a TST at 2/2 and the smarty at +30HP with torque management delete, how would a stock transmission with ATS Triple disc converter hold up?

I usually roll in to my throttle after it achieves lockup in O/D.
