DiabloSport's Stack Combo for Dodge Cummins

Kalamazoo Michigan (SMARTY) U can Test

Bob,

Would you please explain "Marco's post was tongue in cheek with the 350 HP gain" and "06's will be offered in short order". I just dont understand those terms. Thank you

is there an offical Smarty CR dyno/ drive test Q&A thread. If there isnt you should post the results, with real numbers and impressions.

Is it just me, or does this programmer seem just like all the others?

I have been watching this thread for a while, so far, most of the things that were hyped up early on in development have not came to be.

No offense meant to those working hard to develop and market the smarty.

Tell us how this is better or even just different than other reprogrammers, rather than a couple of dyno numbers.

No imprint claimed. Warranty intact. Jack Powell Dodge in Escondido voided my friend's '05 suspension warranty the minute he pulled up w/KORE Pace. D/C doesnt need anymore ammo. :(

Bob do u think that the #'s for the 06 smarty will be around that of the current one? And this may be a stupid question but what is Can-Bus?

Marco's already said they can detect it.

Hi Bob. I called a while ago about being put on the list to receive one of the first hundred and you said you put me on it. Are you still going to go by that list? Will I still be one of the first hundred?

I wouldnt worry about it. The way my luck is you will probably get 200hp+ for 06 because the 04. 5+ have 170hp and us saps that have 03,04 are stuck with the normal 130hp

Sounds like you either need to get over the fact that you have an '03, or trade up to an '05.

I like my '03, it makes decent power. Plus it gets decent fuel mileage. It came without a catalytic converter (soon to be an important thing in CA). Many have the opinion that the '03-04 trucks are the '98 12-valve of 3rd gens.

Get yourself a Smarty and stack it with a TST. It will take you a while to get the supporting mods to put that power to the ground.

Even if the Smarty only makes 130hp on the '03-'04 trucks (and I'm not sure where you got that info, as I haven't seen it posted), you're not going to be running at that power level or any higher power level on the street without those supporting mods. A turbo, clutch and a FASS (or something similar) at a minimum.

My 140hp Quad (on my then otherwise stock truck) would slip my stock clutch while hammering on it. It would also pull my fuel pressure to 0. And the EGT's would go through the roof.

I can't wait to get the Smarty. It is going to complement my '03 extremely well. It already has a lot more going for it than the Triple Dog I had for a while.

I will call BS there. I will let the product speak for itself in very short order :)

You're right. I went back through and couldn't find any posts about what Chrysler could find no matter what was done. I guess I was thinking of something else  . Sorry Marco, for misqouting you.

I guess we have to wait and see what all this programmer does.

Matt

Bob Wagner is there any more info on the Smarty you are willing to give us besides:

3 cylinder High idle for an auto, and 6speeds? :)

Info on the Fuel saver how much of an increase in MPG?

ABS tire size, speedo correction? :)

Are these features still going to be on the Smarty? Not everyone wants to buy the Smarty for the Power increase. :-laf

I see...

I wonder what the real ratings are on level 8 and 9 for the '03-'04 trucks?

No matter. Whatever it is I'm sure it's adequate.

Any suggestions on what levels to run the Smarty CR and TST stacked with a stock automatic.

There is no way the stock transmission can handle any more fuel than the lowest smarty setting
