Is the 3rd gen smarty going to have 1/2 power and if so, will that be just for emission testing or will it be safe to run it that way?

Well here is one scenario-



Kid comes home to visit (friends) not the family for a couple of weeks and turns my overhead of 20. 2 down to 14. 5

I have no idea how much brake pad and rubber went along with it but downloading 1/2 power sure looks nice as a loaner setting.



Kid wouldn't like it but I would be loven it!

Well, and the #0 setting MAY tame the fun factor enough to help some 3rd Gen's get better mileage when just tooling around as a commuter, especially if a truck already had injectors (as I have heard would be a good coupling with the SMARTY)... The injectors bring it up a bit, the SMARTY brings it down a bit - may equal almost stock power but with better mpgs...

I like the theory... shorter pulse, bigger injector. Like mechanicly modifying the timing?

from what I gather, Marco is over across the pond making, cracking the code,and R&D the Smarty, and your the guy we need to talk to that is in the good ol' USA!
