ive been running with my smarty along time now but i havent found any mount for it. . i always have it in my truck and i would love to put i somwhere

who has the solution??? im thinking about moving my obd2 socket hate when the smarty cable is in the way when i get in/out of my truck

but where should i put it and where should i put my smarty

it just looks wrong to always have it in my drink holder!

i want i clean install in my truck

If you have the S06 POD then you can leave the unit plugged in all the time. However,if its a standard S06 it needs to be placed away after loading of the Smarty Software.

The PODs I have seen mounted have been on a PDA,satellite radio or computer mount with some modifying to make them fit. Many have also moved the OBDII port so your leg doesn't hit the POD wire also.

The one I have is the standard S06 so I use it and put it away. Since buying the truck I have I have found its alot easier keeping it detuned for daily driving and then reloading for events. Way too much truck to drive set on kill all day long... ... . Andy

yes mine is a pod. . always tuned get better mpg with catcher 3 or 5 for daily driving no load. . and pod setting is around 70% but when i want to step on it i dial in 99.

during winter i have it tuned so its weak. . so ice roads here i scandinavia. i found pod to be very useful to get down the power so i wont loose traction all the time and its hadn and quick to turn it up. . but i hate to have it lying around in middle seat or drink holder.

does anyone have pictures how they mounted their?

There is a pic in here from ( I'm gonna butcher this... SShadrach, SSFranco... )???
He had a nice mount coming from the floor area on a roughly 18" flexible rod. Do a search, and you will likely find it.
