Here I am

So if you put in a pusher pump/factory lift pump pressures will never be low?

Just wondering...

if you are running a pusher pump and your factory lift pump eats it, you won't see the drop in psi right? So it could be dead and you wouldn't know? Also, if you knew it was dead for whatever reason and you took it to the stealer, they prob. wouldn't replace it b/c their pressure test would should good pressure right? Finally, would they void out your warranty b/c you had a pusher pump?

azcummins,

You will see a drop in pressure, when I installed my Pusherpump, I had 12psi at idle,3-4psi cruising, and 0 at WOT. Therefore I knew my liftpump was toast. I would've know the pump was bad before the PP install if I had a fuel gauge, but it ( gauge) was on backorder, so I installed the PP first.

Anyway, after the dealer replaced the liftpump (which, yes, they gave me a hardtime about the PP, but warrented it the end) I had 22psi at idle, 17psi crusing, and 12ish WOT. The pusherpump by itself is only like 7-8psi, so yes you should see a drop in pressure. Hope this answers yer questions.

Be Careful.

If you modify the factory fuel system in any way, shape or form than DC is under no obligation to warrant the factory lift pump. That being said, you are almost guaranteed that the factory LP will not last in it current configuration so you would be best off to correct the problem and say goodbye to the LP warrantee. Not saying that there aren't a few dealers out there that will overlook some mods but don't count on it.
