DP, I had to go back thru and look. Bolts for the pointers, if we use them. I did mine last weekend when I did the KDP. I used the Crank Sensor for the pointer. Kinda tough with fan and stuff on it though.

I wouldnt mind having my truck properly timed if someone has time, currently I have it adjusted by ear and what feels right. who knows where its really at.

I've got some bad news guys. The way this year has went, the crops are turning fast, and are ready to harvest. I will be staying in Iowa this weekend to work on getting my crops harvested. My dad has been running corn since Saturday and its dry enough to go to the elevator. Maybe I can get my corn picked this weekend, and then maybe the beans next weekend. I've got mixed emotions, missing SOP is saddening, but I will be harvesting my first crop. I was born and raised a farm boy, and 10 years after leaving the farm to make a living, I getting to chase the dream I've always had.



If for some odd reason I can come out, I will call you Philip. I'm sorry that I have to miss this year, its one of the events I look forward to all year, starting from the Sunday I drove home from SOP #2... .....



Somebody will have to bring drinks. Mt Dew was a big hit last year, a few Pepsi's and water.

Yah, usually the crops are just getting ready to harvest by this time, this year, we are full swing a good two weeks earlier. We did get a bunch of rain today, but I won't amend my earlier comment until Friday. So far I'm still not coming to SOP.



I'm still working for Cat. This year I had the opprotunity to rent 200 acres of crop ground a few miles from my parents farm. My wife and I have our first crop ready to harvest. I get to rent the same farm next year, and I hope to get some more for next year. If all goes well, I hope to be farming full time next year, and then doing a little side work(ie trucking, fence building, wrenching, rebuilding getrags, etc) for a little added income during the summer. We'll see how that goes.



If all goes well, I hope to have a place appropriate to have a gathering like SOP, in the spring, or summer. Of course that will be a couple years down the road. It would be nice to get all the boys(and any girls) over to this part of the country for a weekend.
