How much did the low beam improve and what brand did you use. I want to do this but do not want to end up waisting 300 bucks on junk.

I think they are of good quality. Time of course will be the real test.

About the low beams, they are 500% better than before. I am running both 9004 and 9007 low beam filiments on low beam. It is not advised to run the9004 on low as the housing isn't designed to properly aim the light on low. I have not been flashed and have had people I know meet me on the road and report that it isn't an annoyance or distraction to other drivers. 100% worth every penny!!

He is also not a fan of anything but OEM Chrysler parts. Severely trashed all the aftermarket Lamp fixtures. I am now woried about doing this but ave to do something because I need to run my 6" fogs for decent light.

Yeah, I emailed him and got the same deal about only buying his harnesses and going with OEM fixtures. I went with harnesses from SUVlights and got the lights from Head Lights Depot. Everything was plug and play, and works so much better than the original configuration that I haven't looked back since.

Headlights came in Monday. I got them from Headlight Depot Headlights Depot - Headlightsdepot.com - OEM Style Aftermarket Replacement Headlamps still waiting onthe wire harnes from SUV Lights. Maybe this weekend I willget it al put together.

Mine did't come with a harness, just bulbs #@$%!

Call them up maybe they owe you a pair. I bought mine from them on ebay for $169 and it came with headlights sidemarkers all 4 headlight bulbs and two harnesses. It was an easy plug-n-play once I clearances the core support

No relays. The take a 3 wire connector about two ground wired on one pin and then take one ground wire and a hot to the low beam connector and the orbs ground and hot to the high beam bulb connector. Very basic setup. I realize you will get full voltage through a relay but the amount of light this setup throws is very good and I can't justify the extra clutter and components that could fail for a marginal difference in light. Alot of people will probably disagree with me but I just like it simple.

The relays are not just for higher voltage from the battery, they take most of the load off a switch that is already at capacity, that you just added more to. Reduces heat makes switch last longer.

I believe your new set up is actually putting more load on the stock switch, wiring, and dimmer switch than a stock Sport Model does. Here is why. A stock Sport pickup only has one bulb per side turned on while in low beam. I assume yours has both bulbs on, on both sides. That is doubling the current. Secondly, a Sport, on high beam does have a relay from the factory to run all 4 bulbs at once.



I'm not telling you what to do by any means, just wanting you to be informed. I would think that your ON/OFF headlights switch, as well as your multifunction switch are at risk of burning out at an accelerated rate. I would guess that the harness from SUV or making your own from Daniel Stern is much cheaper than buying the multifunction switch an the ON/OFF switch..... Good luck!

I am only running one bulb at a time with the provided harness. I can see the justification for relays if you are running both high and low beams simultaneously.

If I get the harness from SUVLights, do I need the headlight "conversion" from the Headlight Depot or just the lights. Looks like the conversion has a harness to use with the stock harness but if I'm using the other harness, I don't need the conversion harness, correct?

Correct, headlights from headlight depot..... harness from SUV... plug and play.



you might want to upgrade the cheap bulbs to Silverstar bulbs before the install.



Daniel had a nice rightup on them after I had mine installed I bought his recommended bulbs but have not installed them yet, supposed to take this mod to the next level with even better lighting.

I installed the bulbs that D. Stern reccommended, and they are SWEET!!! Great light output without blinding oncoming traffic.

You have 4 bulbs total, 2 on each side. All are capable of being ran on high or low. None of the harnesses are set up to run the bulbs on high and low beam at the same time. That is how you explode bulbs and melt housings. If your running both bulbs per side on low, or high, then you are adding a lot more load to the system.
