AutoWurks Diesel Website???

I agree with SoCalDmax. Don't post a thread here making fun of them, and then go over there and pretend to be their friend. Uncool.

I was honest over there Castor. I told them that I had put a dig in the thread on here stating whether they would require a VIN # to prove it and I even referenced the post on there. I don't see any inconsistency. I've been posting over there for over a year and I've always been honest over there. I even put a review of a test drive I took in a duramax both over there and here and I tried to be very objective in it, quite a few guys on both sites appreciated my objectivity. Sorry if you were offended.

NO complaints at all Steve - you displayed excellent control and diplomacy. Like many here, I have no particular axes to grind concerning the new DM engine other than the aluminum head issue - shucks, I have *2* GM vehicles out in my garage, including a '98 Camaro SS with (GASP!) ALUMINUM HEADS! Of course, the REST of the engine is aluminum as well, and YES, there ARE more problems associated with the LS1 all aluminum engine than previous iron SB V8's used in these cars - so our concerns about GM's use of aluminum would seem reasonably well founded...

MORE to the point, is the ongoing issue, where THEIR group whine about OUR group requiring a paid subscription, while theirs is "free" - rather evasively ignoring their continual habit of strictly controlling posts, and booting off any contributors who DARE question the hiarchy entrenched there who lead the GM/DM cheerleading...

They have NO problem, nor do they in any way censure THEIR members who ridicule Dodge or Ford stuff - but God help the intruder who dares attempt enter the thread to level the playing field - I think it's called "circumstantial ethics"...

THAT, I despise them for!

Give them another year or 2, along with the inevitable cross-section of failures, and eventually THEY TOO will mature and face the reality that their hardware is just as vulnerable to defeat and failure as any other - just as the Ford guys did when they got a few miles under their floorboards! They're almost HUMAN now!

Sure be glad when the GM/DM bunch get there as well... ;) :D :p

Fair enough Steve. Perhaps I was looking at it from a different angle. I like the Duramax. Hell, I've been thinking about buying one. Always been a Bowtie fan. They've just always had a junk HD truck. Hmmmm. I love the new Ram too though.

GO DALE JR. !!

Heck any guy that posts under his full name, not some fictitious acronym has to be honest.

Thank you Steve St. Laurent. Many of us appreciate that quality you have displayed in your posts.
