Hello everyone. I was wondering if it is ok to use stock front shocks with a 1.5 inch lift. The gap in the rear well is 7in. and the front is 4in. also I will be replacing the upper and lower ball joints, perhaps the tie rod ends too.

Nice truck. I cannot see from the picture, is it 2wd or 4wd? I will assume 4wd. My stock shocks would top out going over bumps with my 2" spacer. I changed to Edelbrock monotube shocks and the problem went away. I currently have ProComp monotubes which have been good too. You could run the stock ones to see if they top out. A railroad track or two will tell you pretty fast. I would upgrade from the stock twin tube shock while in there. A good set of Edelbrock, Procomp, Bilsteins, etc would do wonders for your ride. Keep us posted
