stronger getrag clutch

Better getrag clutch?. . I can slip this one if i jump on th power too quick if im slow and easy it holds but if i stomp and romp it slips. . i plan on a nv4500 and double disc later i e a few year so i want a stronger interm one now. . any ideas. .

I know south bend, but what model con fe ?etc etc. ???. I plan on doing a3850 dual disc later for the nv4500.

I would say a conOFE. It comes with a new flywheel, and is the 13" clutch. Very nice unit. Good to a solid 450HP.

I have heard of some duel disks that the splines can be changed in and thats if you plan on going 1 3/8 with the nv4500. Why not get a duel disk know instead of paying twice. PM woodsrat, He has new era diesel and is a south bend dealer but also builds his own clutches that are supposed to be awsome and cheaper than south bend.

because i don't have $2500 now . . heck I don't have the $ for a regular clutch now either . . so its tight. . $ wise... . This clutch seems to slip in higher rpm in 4th especially around 70 -80 when your rommpng on it ie a good pull. . with the 3. 07s i have seen 100 mpgh no problem very quickly too. . I am selling some stuff soon so that may be the option. . if i sell my mack and another truck etc... .

will the con ofe hold up to a p7100 swap in the first gen. . 370s or my pods modified... with lazer d valves and a #4 plate?. .

When i do the Nv4500 ,I would be definately upgrading to the bigger shaft and probably the torque king gold from Quad 4x4. . what size shaft is in the getrag. . ?... the bigger hydraulics too. .
