Trailer Wiring, HELP!!!

Im getting ready to take the winter tires off and put the summers back on. (quad cab, 4x4) Ive noticed there is quite a bit of difference in the tread thats left on the summer tires (front vs back). They are all still fine, but here is the question.

Should I put the better tires up front where the weight of the engine is ? Or should I put them on the rear where the weight of the trailer tonge is ?

Most of my driving is unloaded. But I will probably take at least one 3000 mile trip this summer pulling my trailier. Not to mention several fishing trips that will be 150 to 300 miles one way ?

I know the feeling, I am getting spring fever myself and can not wait to change mine and the wifes tires over.

I am not sure about your tires, did you mark them as you took them off? If so, then I would just rotate front to back. On mine I get even wear, but slightly different. The rear duals seem to wear the tires even and straight across, while the fronts both wear the same, but they wear the side edges more. I always mark them and rotate them around, usually the fronts will switch sides and go to the insides of the duals. The inside duals go to the outsides, and the old outside duals go to the opposite front. Good luck.
