Was looking at the sway bar links and the front look fine, but one of the back links, in the ball joint side is completely worn out. Would just one bad sway bar cause much body roll? I notice a lbit of swaying on bumby roads? What do you think?

The rear sway bar shouldn't effect body roll too much without a lot of weight on the back. These trucks usually ride better without it. Worn out springs and shocks might have something to do with it. How does it drive aside from that?

That is the only issue left after replacing the entire steering system. Was thinking about the springs since I have a heavy homemade front bumper and brush guard.

A heavy bumper will definitely provide a mushy front end with stock springs.

I recently worked on an armored vehicle's suspension. The added weight gave a somewhat unpredictable mushy ride with a lot of body roll. Better quality springs of a higher rate, helped immensely.

JKaptchinskie,

I have been running KORE suspension for several years, and the springs are great. I do not personally know the quality of the other aftermarket springs available so I will not comment there. I do know that KORE has spent a lot of time and effort to design the best coil springs possible. If you wait long enough though, someone will eventually come on to this thread and tell you their's are better.

If you go with aftermarket springs you will probably need slightly longer shocks, which means you are essentially buying a leveling kit. There are exceptions, but I have not seen a good quality stock replacement(height) spring yet. I have seen some attempts but nothing of high quality.
