Well we had a pull here in Turlock CA last night. I got half way down the track bouncing all the way, then all of the sudden I slowed down real quick, the transfer case granaded and I pulled another 10 feet in two wheel drive. The front yoke on the front drive shaft is broke an ear off, the universal joint is missing in action, but the straps that hold it in the pumpkin yoke are still there and screwed in not tight however. The transfer case is broken in half like it exsploded. if it wasn't for the chain I could pull the front drive shaft out with half of the T-Case attached
I knew it would go this year, I have been waiting to upgrade that Light Duty one.
Any idea's for the upgrade ? I am thinking I might just go with the 241DHD as it should bolt right up. Is there anything else out there that is tougher and proven that would be a pita to install ? any upgrades to the 241DHD that have to be done ?
