Latest news, we are going to meet at my house at 1:30 or 2 on sat. We should be out of here by 2:15. that will put us there about 5:30. we'll probably go straight tothe pull. As far as i know we'll see you tomorrow evening. The pull is in michigan city miss. it's one hour south of Jackson TN. just inside the MS border. The guy that is putting on this pull will be there tomorrow nite with us. It's a run what u brung pull. will have a gas and diesel class. this is the first time that he's put on a pull. if he has a good turn out he's going to try to have a spring and fall pull dependind on attendance and such. 'Twas a thing of beauty. They called the diesel truck class and 7 CTD's, from a 95 to an 03, lined up. Only 3 of us didn't pull. Track was slick and long. We pulled everything from Gap's 2WD 301, to Nick's (built to pull) 420
on the 400 foot track. I didn't keep a list, but we got some video. 
No fords or chubbies pulled with us, BUT we did almost have a fight trying to be the first to go hook to the PSD that buried itself on the other side of the track. I'll let somebody else tell that story. Or I'll come back and tell it later, bacon and eggs is calling me now.

I had a great time at your pull. Keep us informed when you are going to do it again. we got home about 2:30. Had to stop and eat at the waffle house. My trucks not a full blown puller. you can still pull a goose neck with it. 
We'd love for ya'll to come down next weekend if you can make it. I almost took the tailgate off of my tow truck coming out of the ditch. rubbed a little paint off of the tailgate but no real damage. talk to ya'll later

Loved watching as others did I am sure. Glad ya'll came. Ya'll missed the best part. AFter ya'll left... Did ya'll see the powerstroke pull? AFter he pulled he got stuck in the mud across the track and we went to pull him out. He didn't want a "Cummins/Dodge" to pull him out so this Ford gasser comes over to pull him. The gasser says " I can't pull you out, let the dodge pull you". Powerstork dude was ******. He reluctantly let my dad's stacked 95 (if you remember)pull him out. After we got him out (pretty easy) he got ****** and slammed on the brakes. My brother driving the Dodge didn't know it and just kept pulling him. He was going to pull him to the parking lot. Not on purpose but just making sure he was out. He was draggin him with his brakes locked up!
To top it all off... . I have it all on Video. DVD's are in the works. I've got all the diesels pulling, us pulling out the powerstroke, and then us doing donuts and playing in the mud where the Ford got stuck!! Classic footage and I got it coming!!

Had a great time last night guys. The temptation to pull was great, but thankfully I had greater will-power.

Hell, i just love hooking to a sled personnally. Good luck with your MTTDR chapter. I'd love to get a copy of that dvd or vhs. Hate i missed ya'll pulling out a powerstroke. That is always a classic! If ya'll want to see a couple of pretty hot PSD's pull you ought to come down this coming up weekend. I'll be leaving my house about 5pm. If anyone would like to come just let me know.

Would have contacted sooner, but only have internet at work. Had a great time Saturday nite, good to finally put faces with names. Wade--- thanks for arranging the get-together. Looking forward to the next one. Andy--- when is the E-Z due to ship? Smoke---GET A CLUTCH! Jay--- Give me a call sometime, we'll get out and about and locate a close place to punch holes. Fellas, who is going to hook us up on the video? I am ready to re-live it. I am planning on going to Nick's pull on Sat. night since I will be in Jackson all weekend. Let me know if anyone else is going.
Gap, what are the chances of me getting a hold of that Edge EZ for a day next weekend? I want to see what it will do for my truck. I think I am going to hold out for the Edge Comp box after the gauges, tires, track bar. The track bar is going to be next. It has got too much wander in it and is getting scary on the back roads. Anybody around here gone with the DT track bar replacement?

I'ma warkin on getting someone to pull the footage to mpeg format. I don't have a firewire card to get it off my camera, but some of my buds here at work do... . I'm on it though... as quick as I can get it, I'll get it posted somewhere where everyone can download it.
Ya'll may start to see a little friendly competition between me and Jay ... our trucks were so close in the pull, and now we wanna start bombing... It looks like bombing has got it's little hooks in the two of us pretty good!

UPDATE: A buddy here at work took the tape, he said he'd upload a low res and a high res mpeg of the pull... HOPEFULLY He'll do it tonight. I don't know if everyone's got a high speed connection or not, so I asked for the low and hi res... If anyone wants, I'd be glad to put it on a cd and mail it to you... maybe even get it on with gaps DVD. Mine is a digital video camcorder, and the footage looked REAL good on my tv, so hopefully everyone will be pleased with the outcome... All the trucks look stunning in the video... can't wait for ya'll to see.

I've got a pretty decent video from about 310'. if you look close on my video you can see a little orange flamt trying to creep out of my stacks. not use to pulling 400+feet. i'm going to redo my exhaust this winter. go with some 5. 5" or 6" stacks. Wade, thanks for getting this together. sorry i didn't get to hang out with ya'll at wade's house. we were kind of running behind schedule. Joey didn't get off of work until 12:30pm in somerville, TN. and by the time we got loaded up, you know. i also didn't know that it was a five hour drive. but we made it. I'm a dealer for some high performance parts. i'll be glad to shoot ya'll some prices on clutch, boxes and other stuff. just email or pm me. look forward to going to another pull soon. i'm kinda full for the next two weekends, i'll be in smithland, ky on friday nite, michigan city, ms on saturday nite, then the next weekend at covingington, tn. and i think that's about it for this year.
