This is the HX-40-16 Turbo that fragged the intake impeller on the compressor intake housing. The cause: 60,000 miles of abuse on the street and @ the track. But nothing for nothing it was a great street single setup. It propelled my big heavy truck to a 13. 39 @ 100. 41m. p. h. @ the track. For you newbies that are looking for the next step up from stock the HX-40 with the shaft bearing modification (oiling) is KING; (IMHO). Just make sure you send it in for service to that bearing- check your impeller for excessive movement, it should move a tiny bit but when it starts to get sloppy, service it!- or this happens:
