The 3500 dually is now sporting LT235/80R17E tires (that's right, 17-inch dually wheels!) and the overall height is the same as the LT235/85R16E. With the 3. 73 axle, it is very close to the old 215/85s with 3. 54.
I'm going to wait until 2004. 5 when the EGR is added before I buy a new Ram 3500 to replace my current baby semi. By then, all the bugs should be long gone, and Alcoa should have some 17" aluminum wheels by then - and I don't mean those weird oned they make for slammed "California" trucks. Those still use the 16" wheel's bolt circle, offset, and backspacing, even if they're 22 inches.
