im lifting the front of my truck 5 inches and i need a new track bar for it i want an adjustable one thats of good quality. i found one at rips automotive but its from 3 inches only and i need a little more then that to make it work. my questions are 1 where can i find an adjustable track bar that will handle a 5in lift and 2 i know that this thing wont be parellel to the steer rod so i assume this will cause some bump steer problems. is that right? anyways any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated thanks in advanced

Get Don Thuren's track bar... it is about twice the thickness of the stocker, adjustable, rebuildable, and set up for a 5" lift. Just requires a little welding. Great product, and Don is really helpful if you need any questions answered.

you're right about the bump steer. Ideally, the track bar and the steering rod should both be parallel to the front axle. The closer you are to parallel, the better your steering will be.

I run the DT unit.

It is a bolt on.

Only slight draw back is the replaceable rod end needs to be replaced every 60,000 miles. (probably due to my agressive driving style).
