Installing a track bar for the first time tomorrow and was wondering how tight the nut on the frame end should be? Is there a spec anyone has in the service manual?

Thanks,

Chris

my 99 fsm say

70 ft/lbs for the nut on the ball stud , on the frame

130ft/lbs for the bolt at the axle tube.

well i don't know about you, but i took the air-gun and held it on till it didn't move any more...

noticeable increase in steering improvment

torque spec... i dont need no stinkin torque sepc!

well the torque specs tend to help me not to break things.

I'm pretty well known for

" ... . oh just a bit tighter... . just a little more"... . 'SNAP'... ugh... @#$@#$@#$^#$%.

My wife has tons of foder to keep my friends rolling on the ground with.

Never mind nuts, bolts, drivers, breaker bars... ... it doesnt stop there...

-shovels, broom handles, sledge hammers, axes, car door.....

It's been a family joke since my teen years.

Thanks for the info guys. Been working the graveyard shift, no time for posting. Installation went ok, but now the steering wheel is not quite 1/4 off center. Sure is nice not to have the "klunk" anymore. I went with a Spicer trackbar about $138. 00. Not sure of any warranty, but I'll see how it holds up. Who makes the factory one for DC?
