Crankcase Ventilation

Cummins swap chevy k20

I was driving my 2000 3500 47RE this morning and it was falling into gear very slowly, almost slipping. A few weeks ago, I had a trans temp light coming on and falling out of O/D. On the highway I was running about 65-70 mph and started slipping, then lost all gears. Trans temperature never climbed over 150°F. There's 210,000 miles on it. On the scanner, all the solenoids are maxed out in voltage. It doesn't change through any gear selection. I pulled the transmission relay and had no gears at all.

It's had regular fluid changes, I change the fluid at every 15k miles. It does tow a trailer normally, only about a 7k lbs trailer. Debating, new transmission or try the governor solenoids. Pulled relay and no change. Fluid changed in April\ May. Fluid doesnt smell or look burnt. And transfer case is in gear. Any help would be appreciated.

Just did today, builds pressure on start. Then drops to nothing. The bottom of the pan is sparkling with shavings. Temp never rose above 150/160. Thats as far as I got today. They never fail when you have time.

Thinking an ATS stage 3. There right here in Colorado. And I knew Clint when he had his original shop off 44th and wadsworth. Expensive but I think worth it.
