I just got my truck back, they rebuilt the transmission, and now there is a code 45 showing up... . overdrive solenoid is open or shorted... . arrgghh !!!

Anyone run into this before ?

is there something I should be looking for ? I'll take it back to the rebuilder I guess, but I thought if there was something quick I'd look at it myself.

plugged in.....that's ok...just not working

nice transmission shop... they rebuild the unit, tell me there was little actually wrong, and call me to pick it up (1 hour away from home, where it broke down) I get there after hours, keys under the mat, leave the shop, and it won't shift to OD until you hit 60 mph, and you have to coax it into OD, mind you it was shifting poorly before, and I told the guy on the desk that... . he sounded like he had just been hired from BLockbuster VIdeo or someplace like that...

So when I called them back the next day, I asked if the tech had test driven the truck, the service writer says "of course he did"... I said "he must not have left the lot then, cuz in a few hundred yards he'd know it wasn't shifting... . " duh... ...

So I guess it's back to the shop, they'll pull the pan and tell me I need an overdrive solenoid... .

trailering season is just around the corner, guess it's better now than in April...

I just want my truck back... . I can't handle driving my gasser... . it's sickening how much fuel it guzzles...
