transmission shop in california

where can i find a reputable transmission shop to do upgrades on my auto transmission. i live in southern California. I called DTT and they said they could not refer me to a good one in California other than redding which is a 10 hour drive. i'm willing to go to Arizona or Nevada. Help! not sure which brand to go with, please help. i tow a 10 k fifth wheel. Oo.

I know there is one in Santa Fe Springs that has ads in the TDR mag... . I don't have it with me, but can look it up tonight if no one else has any suggestions.

Contact Diesel Dynamics in Las Vegas... They do DTT stuff all the time.
