Truck won't run

Truck won't run/ now runs great

I adjusted the star wheel one turn CW, the fuel pin 90 degrees CW, and the smoke screw one turn CW, now truck starts but won't run. Do I have to adjust the idle?

Figured it out, I think. The truck would run for two seconds than die, like it had no fuel. I kept cycling the starter and feathering the fuel pedal till it would idle, and now it runs great. It must of needed to bleed the air, I guess. I can easily drive through my clutch now!

Did you knock a wire off the shutdown solenoid while working on it?



It is at the rear up the pump, should have two wires attached to it.

Thanks for the reply, that was the first thing I checked. That little blue wire has given me trouble in the past. The truck would start and run but only for a second or so.
