Dunno, but I bet you will blow us away with your witty punchline. And you are right about My Dad, he does not use drugs, nor use tricks to get women or children into his car. We generally prefer not to associate with trash.

Woah, he's your dad?????

Dunno who the "He" is that you are referring to,but like I stated earlier, your analogy leaves alot to be desired, and I wont get into a juvenile "who's your daddy" contest. Thanks for caring though... . :-laf :-laf

Competitors, I am truly enjoying these threads, but I must request (no, demand) that any/all discussions about "antes" and "pots of money" cease immediately.

Reference the TDR website guidelines. No solicitations allowed. And yes, this is a form of solicitation.

Please self-enforce this request so that I can remain in the background and we can let the fun continue.

* * * Oh, one more thing. JLackman, you seem to want to hyjack this thread. I'd respectfully request you let it go and everyone else, let it go. Let's not let this turn into something it wasn't intended to be.

What's your motive? You havent added anything constructive or positive pertaining to the thread. If you want to do standup comedy then I suggest you do so else where. It's not polite to make comments about other's family members here, You seem like a very intelligent person who needs to work at making more successfully positive and constuctive posts. It's ok and fine to do slight ribbing here pertaining to anymember or diesels or racing, but when you start crossing the line and bring in a innocent family member of a member that just shows bad taste- judgement and character. If you wish to insult fellow members here and call them women, might I suggest you go stand in front of mirror and look for faults in the reflection staring back at you. My opinion you will be standing there for quite some time. Good day to you sir.

Mr. Cummins of course, I'm very proud to say Mr. Gasser is my husband, but any of us McTrash can understand, we have skeletons in our closets too.

*Sigh*

Mr Lackman, At the request of the Administration, I'm gonna drop back and punt here. I have enjoyed our exchange, and since you implied that you have skeletons in the closet, that must mean that you are "out of the closet" :-laf kinda freaky since you like that polygamy and all..... Now back to the topic at hand. We gonna have a race here or what?

Motive? Well banter! Goodness am I in the wrong forum?

By "innocent family member of a member" are you referring to Mr. Diesel Cummins? If it isn't him then I don't have a clue who you are talking about or what line I crossed. I'm sorry I don't understand, I must be having a blond moment. I better lie down for a while.

Sounds like you have a personal problem.

Banter about anything involving diesels and Diesel competition, I. E. Racing, Pulling ect. not stand up jokes or insults towards a members family member.

Like I said Mr. Lackman you seem like a smart guy.

So, we give each time to accept or decline and Keating should be invited too since he has run the quickest time any of us have actually seen with a diesel truck. :p

But for me, I'm tired of reading about them... I'm ready to watch them.

But, there will be a class of Outlaw trucks there too that will entertain us as they always do. :-laf

:(

Ok Jesse Lackman here, not Mrs. Gasser McTrash.

I'm sorry.

I had no intention of insulting a members family member and didn't have any idea I was even possibly doing that. I still have no clue how I was doing that. It must be something that I don't know anything about.

I hope the race happens, I think it is a great idea.

Greg, I think you should do it.

I was thinking we would be able to name after this event.

Worlds Fastest Tube chassis diesel truck

Worlds Fastest frame chassis diesel truck

And Worlds fastest Passat.

Not a bad day. :p

I'm thinking: The Put up or Shut-up Race of 2005! Run What'cha Brung and HOPE you Brung enough!

Lets hope that the checks the mouths have been running can be cashed!

OK ok ok... . After 5 pages I HAD to say something... .

Even though I'm sure I won't be able to afford to come to this race, but, I want it to happen!

I don't think Pinks would want to get involved in this one... . the show's I have seen there hasn't been any spectators!

*opening of the show... . A truck/trailer pull in, with 5 bus loads of people behind it. Another truck/trailer, with another 7 bus loads. "Who are these guys?!" Comp: "My Pit crew. " Keating: "The rest are on my pit crew. " Edge: ". . ya mine too. " etc... .

Man this is HOT HOT HOT

I just drifted off the street and landed on this post. The race of off to a great start :-{} Great banter (mostly) but wow, what a prospect. Hope it happens!!!

Dennis,

Be the middle-man. Send a "Letter of Intent to Commit" to Edge and Greg. Once you have in writing that each intends to attend if the other attends, you can send certified copies of each letter of intent to the other along with a contract committing each to attend. Once each have signed both contracts (so each knows the other really did sign), the race is on. The contract should be simple: all requisite safety equipment is required, one compression ignition engine is allowed, best of three heads-up runs, and the loser makes a suitable donation to the winner's specified charity. To keep it fair and clear, both racers must complete both (or three rounds if necessary) without breaking; if there's breakage before a winner is determined, confering the title is delayed until some future date.

Why best of three? This is a race to determine who's best. Luck often determines the outcome of one race. Three eliminates the doubt. Why the breakage clause? Breakage leaves doubt due to 'a lucky break'; we want luck and doubt eliminated. The win and title must be earned, not chanced upon.
