I found out I'm most likely moving to Colorado in a month or so. Thats brings up a dilemma that I have yet to face....Cold weather. Colorado Springs to be exact. I remember some time ago talk about the fuel heaters not being activated at the factory....living in a "warm "locale" I glossed:-laf over the topic.....

What exactly was it that was not done that needs to be done??? My local dealer goes nuts and smirks:rolleyes: every time I call with TSB's etc etc. What should I ask for etc when I call? I'd like to get it checked/fixed if its needed before I have issues.

The other question is: Apparently the re-flash for the 68 RFE shift flare is going to be out by months end. If any of you happen to hear about it and or particulars, please let me/us know.

Thanks for your input in advance....That reminds me I have to order a 110 plug for my RAM.:--)

The rear mounted fuel filter has a heater element to warm the fuel. Apparently, some early 2014's (and maybe a few others?) left the factory with insufficient programming and the heaters get no voltage to operate. If you search it on here, you'll see a post that indicates exactly where to test either under the hood or at the heater for voltage to know if you need the heater enabled or not.

RRT 14-011is the document and there is of course a tsb 14-001-14 rev a.It is a reconfiguration of the bcm.
