I just read that urea will be injected to meet emmissions in the year 2007 and beyond - for new rigs. That means you will need a separate supply for that.

explain

Urea? what is it and what will it do ? how does it help emissions? We will have no sulpher in diesel by 2007, so wats up with urea?

Urea Injection

This will just promote drinking and driving!! They'll also have to install a relief tube to supply the injection pump, a new model Bosch PP44:rolleyes:

This is how it works - supposidly

The application is an advanced form of Urea SCR, the benchmark NOx control technology. An advanced urea injection system meters precise amounts of a safe, non-toxic and easy-to-use urea solution into the exhaust stream of the diesel or natural gas engine. Once in the exhaust, the urea decomposes and forms ammonia which reacts with the NOx across the catalyst to convert the NOx into nitrogen and water.
