Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have a sound coming from the engine that is hard to describe. Sort of a subdued pop, almost in sequence with the engine that will increase in frequency as you speed up the engine. The closest that I can come to it is that it sounds similar to the sound a large slow speed air compressor makes, the suction noise.
Anybody have any ideas? Maybe the vacuum pump is going?
