Okay it's done, new upper and lower ball joints (Moog) and while they had it apart they asked if I wanted to replace my axle U joints too, they were worn out also, so those are new too (Spicer). Had a little fluid leak from the passenger side, but if I'm not mistaken, this is normal right? Oh well, truck feels really tight when you steer now.

When I was hot shotting 80K per year I would redo the front end every year. That fine slab of concrete called I-10 from Beaumont to Mobile did wonders for the front end. I bought all Moog parts and they included a lifetime warranty. Got an appointment at the alignment shop, went to the parts house and bought all new components on the plastic. The day after I returned all the old parts and got my card refunded. The mechanic at the shop loved it. No diagnosis, just replace it all and align it. The shop charged me right at 190 bucks labor.

WOW!! eighty bucks a pop, wished my right side had cost that try to the tune of 210. 00 but because Moog had not come out with a replacement for the 2000 model year at that time. I wonder if they are out now, I don't mind greasing the joints, gives me a chance to be under the truck more often.
