Does anyone have the part number for the banjo bolt for the AFC tube that goes into the AFC housing on the VE pump, and the seals?

No part number, but I have a few extra AFC banjo bolts- I'll give ya one for shipping. Seals can be had at any injection shop.

did you look at that link?

for what cummins gets for 2 banjo bolts you can get 2 fittings and half a line

its your truck but i wouldnt try to save 10 bucks just to have the steel tube break at the silver soilder - they are notorious for that...

why not a barbed banjo and a barbed 1/8 " straight with 1/8 " silicone hose way cheaper then an fittings etc etc. . ?I'll have to dig a pic up...

cuz rubber hose cracks and wont stay on the barb under high boost conditions

you can get 2 an fittings for 10 bucks

tap the cover yourself

and have a 8" line made for 15 bucks

25 dollars and it will never break again

wont ever push apart either... which is a big deal to me

man, some of you first gen guys are tight

learned a long time ago it is less expensive to fix things right the first time

less of a headache too...

don

ps - i also needed a line for boost reference for a pressure regulator. that is why there is a tee in my set up

pps - rabbit, have you checked to make sure you are getting full throttle?

you can get the barbed banjo from bosch its factory on the vw diesels for the injector return fitting that goes on ve afc style pump... since i have a bunch of vw parts i had a few laying around. . the 1/8 " silcone and zip ties held fine on my twin turbo truck that saw 50 psi pretty regular. .

the pump is definately getting full throttle the stop screw is there as a stop if i remove it its the same position.

good deal...

i wonder why i had to move the ball thingy on mine to get full throttle?

just moving it to the inside hole wasnt even enough...

had to oblong the hole!

maybe its cuz when you turn the fuel screw in the idle comes up and you end up with a lot more throw?

well my fuel is turned up as much it can go with out running away. . can't get it higher. . the idel screw had to be backed out a ton to get it to idle. . etc
