hmm. lets try and get a count on who wants to do which. i can really do either. the 16th actually works better for me also, but since weve already planned the 9th, thats still fine.
oh bruce tell me you didnt! you had to go with the duracrap. oh well gotta keep the woman happy, i understand.
7pm, is fine, one guy mentioned 2-3pm. the earlier time may work better for those comming from a distance, so they can get back on their way before it gets to late, and dark. lets settle a time tho that we can all agree on before tomaro night?
2-3pm works fine, let's do it. Meet at the Chick-Fil-A by Lowe's.
The upside to the Duracrap story is that I have been given the 2001 Cummins by default from a very happy wife. The Cummins will become a support vehicle for the Chevy!:-laf
allright anybody who sees this post before 2 or 3 today, saturday, come on out. just look for my 2 tone silver 1st gen. i got a big orange toolbox in the bed its hard to miss, bruces 08 duramax, and hopefully a timberline green 3rd gen 4door longbox. yalll come!
today i saw a 2nd gen white/gray 2 tone 2500 extended cab longbed. it was headed east on algonkian parkway from sterling area to fairfax. ive seen him almost a dozen times in the past, it looks like its on 35" allterrains, and they alost look like H2 hummer wheels. his TDR badge is on the bottom back right corner of the rear window, passenger side. for the life of me i cant seem to find out who he is, and where he lives. i always catch him within a 2 mile stretch of the parkway, everytime.
Passed a 3rd gen srw with the TDR logo in the back window yesterday while getting off the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry on the Surry side. I had a trailer in tow and a line off cars behind me... .
I need a recommendation for a trustworthy independent mechanic in Winchester (I've moved to Clarke Co. ). My 03 is in need of new front axle u-joints. The dealer in Chantilly wants $600+. On my previous 03, I had to pay for the time that penetrating oil was soaking. I refuse to do that again since no labor was being done.
the guy i use is in Hamilton VA. its Hamilton Service Center. Mike Spinks the guy, hes the best when it comes to dodge cummins. hes fair on the price and does good work. im not sure of any in Winchester, but i can ask around for you, if you have to have it done in Winchester.
were in clark are you? dont think ive seen you around. im in loudoun.
your sure welcome. ill keep an eye out for you. just tell mike down ther at HSC, that you know i refered you too him on tdr. if he asks which jimmy i am, tell him the boy with the 93 cummins. best of luck
