vortex valve and turbo air guide

anyone using one or both of these simple mod's? if so please share your experiance. thanks... just saw the tag info on page two of this forum. i am still wondering about the vortex valve.

I use the TAG (turbo air guide) in my 04. I do not really know if it is of any benefit or not, as I have had it in since almost new and before the eng was broken in. I do however get excellent mileage when pulling my 24 ft. flatbed gooseneck. without the trailer, i am well over 20mpg. with trailer, I never make less than 15. I have never taken the tag out to check its benefit, or lack of it. I should though

i am still wondering about the vortex valve.

i've heard that term over on the diesel stop, but i don't know what it is though... ???
