Yesterday I added to a thread that was a joke. Both jokes were CUTE, and FUNNY!!!!



Today they are GONE!!! WTF



No sexual content, just funny.

No swears, no sex content, just being stupid, I just don't get it.



If there gonna get picky about things, just look at some sigs posted by other members. Some of them should be banned.

I'm of the thinking that the use of W T F is or should be considered using Characters to mask expletives. we all know what you are referring to and so do others that may take offense to that sort of language. it has been being used quite often here lately.

I realize the OTHER is a forum that is only available to other members, but the other members are exactly who we should be considering first. you never know who or from what background is on the other side of the screen.



lets all try to remember that, before tapping out something that could be considered questionable

The 'Other' forunm is no longer public. Who cares if it's a little off color as long as there are no explicit statements or language... If they get the joke they should be old enough to ignore it if it bothers them.

If an anacronym is being used and is not being directed at any one particular person (maliciously), who is it offending? Why should a few offended people dictate how the majority posts?

I enjoy the jokes, but the point is that there are FREE online forums dedicated to jokes and humor. You can even have them emailed to you daily. The moderator(s) have made it clear what "other" covers. You joined and paid $35 to tell/read jokes? Come on, stick to the intended content on this site and others. If you still disagree with what is intended with this site, QUIT! Get your money back and move on.

the Other Forum is only available to the TDR members. what part of that, makes it right to use profanity and vulgarity just because the rest of the world cant see it? like i said before, you don’t know who is reading this. your odds are reduced but not eliminated. it is just common courtesy to be aware of other peoples feelings. until you know the intricate social details of every member on the site it IS only PC to be a little conservative. To not step any toes.



Jeff, to address the question of who turned it in, I don’t know if anyone did. Doc just saw it and thought it was out of line.



Mark, I can appreciate your candidness but the Jokes were out of line. Reread the guidelines once in a while as they do get updated as needed.



I make no light of the fact that I am a Moderator Now, but I was and still am a member. If you let the trash talk take over then all you have left, is trash.

the whole Idea of the 'other' is us, the members, who share common interests (trucks) to build a little camaraderie.



I dunno about you, but me and my friends tell jokes, talk politics, religion, family, ask questions, and vent now and again.



What do you do with your friends?



What's the point if you can't say anything about anything?

Maybe those rules should be relaxed for a forum or two.

Not every thread in the "other" is a joke. When someone posts one is is alive for a day or so and then it dies. A week or so later another is posted and the same happens. If every thread started was a joke I could see what the beef would be.



If you use Joke Of The Day when posting and you think you'll be offended, then DON'T READ IT
