Archived Was hard to start died going to work this am

Hello I put 6 new injectors in fri after getting bad fuel was harder to start than it use to put about 100 miles on it started to work this morning and she died at stop sign finally got fired back up and has died 4 more times is there anything I can check before getting it to dealer thanks for any advice also it seems to idle fine

Bad fuel might still be in there, drain the filter and\or replace again. The FCA would be the next thing to replace.

Have you tried re-seating the crossover tubes?

ok thanks gotta another problem now stripped out threads on filter housing do you think heli coil will work ok thanks again

Which threads did you strip out?

5.9 or 6.7?

That code means the pressure was too high.

the one that comes off of pressure relife valve and cp3 pump i think its return line and 5.9

P0148 High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) Fueling Error Checksum

It doesn't mean it i too high or too low, it means whatever signal the sensor returned did not match what was expected. Usually this is an electircal glitch, bad connections, bad battery, grounds, bad fan, etc.

That is the code, won't neccessarily kill the engine. You might have a couple things going on there.
