2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Water coming from lower AC/Heat Vent

I've been trying to diagnose a problem with my A/C.

After running my A/C I have discovered the passenger floorboard is soaking wet. The first thought was the drain tube. Checked and it is clear and draining. Also know it is not coming back into the cab by tracking the bottom of the drain tube back through the firewall (have a 90 degree elbow directing the condensate down to the ground). Then noticed condensation dripping from the lower AC/Heat vents directed to the passenger floorboard. This IS the source of my wet floor!

Any ideas as to why this would be happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Although the drain appears to be open it still may be restricted enough to cause water build up, if you have access to compressed air, try blowing a blast of air into the drain tube from under the hood. bg

Years ago I had the same problem with my wifes 2000 buick. I couldnt get under the car to find the drain hole. So when I went to a quickie lube for an oil change I asked the kid to take a look and see if he could find the hole. He found the hole and stuck something up in there to see if he could clean out anything. He found the problem allright. When he cleared the clog the poor kid just got drenched. (he was down in the hole under the car). I tipped him $25

I use a zap strap (aka cable tie) for cleaning small tubes -- stiff and flexible.

Thank you for your replies. I will try some compressed air and other clean out methods you recommended. Hopefully it is a small obstruction and your suggestions will do the trick.
