Where's a good place to mount my Prodigy in my 3rd Gen?

truck route or not?

I think it can be looked at either way.

Yes you can probably get a good deal, but the problem is, who is going to support it if you have problems.

Most only have a year on them. the rest is by the maker of ice box and all the rest of the goodies I would not be afraid to by one now if you can get them around 15. 000 or more Off the asking price They have a large mark up LARGE Check with your bank they can give you the book price---GOOD LUCK---- BEN

Probably get a great deal on one although I'm not sure I'd want to buy a new WW trailer that was built in the last year or so - RV quality sucks to begin with and I suspect the morale at the WW factory has been in the tank for some time.

There are some smokin' deals on used RV's out there right now - might want to look into a 2-3 y/o model that's had the bugs worked out.

I towed a Weekend Warrior 5ver that was one of there last units to leave the factory and it did have a minor problem for the 5ver, but for my truck it kept me stranded in Vegas over night. The 7 pin connector pigtail on the 5ver had shorted out between the brake lite and the electric brakes, so whenever I applied the brakes it slammed them hard not allowing me to move. I had to cut the brake wire just before they branched out to all six brakes, and had to complete the trip W/O brakes. When I got to my destination and had time to investigate, I found that the plug had been draged around during production and it looked like it had been stepped on and crushed a few times. I didn't notice it when I plugged it in because It was a priority order for the Dealer and was a rush order. Weekend Warrior told my dispatcher that I was picking up a TT and it turned out to be a 5ver, I was looking all over the storage lot and and assembly plant for it until I just finally went into the Main office and asked about it. After an hour in the office, they figured it out and I was hooking up. Because my Log started 4 hours earlier, I was in a hurry to get on the road and as far as possible for it had to be in Salt Lake the next day before 1PM. Needless to say, it didn't make it there on time.

It was weird the way it happened, I was cruising along just fine and stopped at the Flying J for fuel in Vegas and when I went to pull out they locked up at the slightest touch of the brake pedal. At first, I thought it was my new brake controler, but I removed it from the system and it did the same thing. I turned on my emergency lites and the brakes would apply hard in a pulsing fashion. If it wasn't for the aggravation of the situation I would have been laughing at it.

That is way to funny, I used to travel with Mark the owner of Warrior in the 90's all over Ca and Oregon. One day while traveling on I 5 up to the Oregon Dunes with 4 other Warrior owners we had to make pit stop to fix a brand new 5er that had almost the same problem, seems every time he turned on his right blinker the brakes came on, looks like not much has changed.

Same trip I had to change a bulb for my tail lights and all the lights were hooked up backwards, the brake and tail light wires were reversed and instead of fixing the problem all the 1157 bulbs were jammed in backwards to make it work. Mark was a real nice guy but all his trailers were a POS and it looks like nothing has changed.

I also have a friend that is involved in a class action case against them because the frame is breaking in half on his 03 26' pull trailer. They say it has a lifetime structural warrantee but they don't seem to want to fix it, go figure.

If you buy a quality RV, like a 4 star rated, in the first place, you may not need the warranty. If you buy a Weekend Warrior, 2 to 2. 5 star rated, you will need the warranty.

Maybe that's why Weekend Warrior went under, too much warranty work.

Travel Supreme is no more. It was bought by Jayco. Jayco will be making the fivers and Class A's under a new name (Entegra). They will be built at the Starcraft factory that Jayco bought last year. They are still producing Starcraft.

Heard that the Pilgrim factory was shut down and they were trying to restructure.

I agree with Grizzly. I pulled a lot of Weekend Warriers when I was transporting and wasn't particularly impressed. They are "okay" but I wouldn't buy one for more than about 50% of MSRP.

A couple of times I was sent over to WEW to pick up a unit about quitting time and saw the workforce leaving the plant. I thought for a moment I'd made a wrong turn and was in Tijuana, MX by mistake. These folks weren't just new immigrants, from their clothing I'd guess they had just arrived the day before. Not a skilled workforce.

Are you certain? I don't think Fleetwood is gone.

They have laid off employees and may have closed some plants but as of yesterday afternoon there was no news of their closure on the RV industry new sites.

Rage'n 50% off

I picked up our Rage'n 25' Toy box for 26k out the door.

It is fully loaded with a slide out.

It's the front bath model.

Very Heavy trailer. 14. 500 lbs

I know it was made by weekend warrior.

My truck was made by Dodge

In both cases "I am my own warranty station"

The 97 2500 club cab had 10 plate and 370's in it way before the factory warranty was over.
