Well it's official...I've ruined her (The Wife That IS)

It finally hit me on the way to dinner tonight. I have officially ruined my wife. I mean when we first met, she had absolutely no interest in anything the burns fuel. Now, I swear that she is a bigger gear head than anyone that I know. There have been signs along the way, but I just havn't been paying attention I guess. Here are some of the things that have been going on... ... .



A couple of years ago on our honeymoon we were on our way to Florida down I-77 in NC. Just by chance we were coming up on the Moorsville exit and the wife said "why don't we slip over to DEI". . Thats right. My wife brought me to DEI for the first stop on our honeymoon. Now I just thought she was being nice to me at the time.



Lately she has been attending our local TDR get togethers. Now she said that she is just going for the wings, but I don't know.



Now tonight on our way to dinner, we were talking about the upcoming NASCAR season in detail. While we were talking we passed a little Isuzu truck on the highway. She said and I quote "what business does Isuzu have making a piece of **** truck like that. " "I would never want to be caught dead in something like that. " Now what do you think?? I think she's beyond help... . Gotta Love It!!!

Honest to God, she got cool on her own. I really don't know how it happened. I would be willing to let you borrow her for a few days though. She could sit down with yours and maby turn her to the dark side too.



True story. We were at a dinner party around Thanksgiving this year. I was talking to Scott (who is a friend of a friend) about our NASCAR collections. Anyhow I mentioned to him that I came home with a tire off of the NAPA car from our trip to the Pepsi 400 at Daytona last summer. Sara went on to tell his wife that not only did she let me bring the thing home... ... but she stored it in the walk-in closet in our bedroom until I can find a place to put it. (It's still there) Anyway Scott's wife absolutely hit the roof. I think that she actually made them leave. I guess we were too much of a bad influence or something.

Mine has the bug she loves working on and driveing this dodge, I don't get to look at the Geno's first she has it and has marked the thig's she like's by the time I get home. Gotta love it.

The company my wife answers the phone for just recently bought a new F550 with chemical tanks and sprayers on the flatbed. they pulled up in front of the office with the new truck, and she looks out the window and says "oh man, that doesent have the 6. 0 in it, does it?" the guy driving the truck says "yeah, why?" and she simply says "sorry bout your bad luck. "



we have only been married for 10 months, and i have already brought her this far... . life is good.
