I have this 1993 D350 that I want to go through the front end. Ball joints are done already, but the steering idle arm is worn and figure after 30 years the tie rods, center link, and many other items should just be replaced if I am in there.

What brand would you replace with? Looking at places like Rock Auto there is not a lot of brand names that are known for quality. Curious what people have used and had good or bad luck from.

I havent lived in 2wd land for a while, but on my 4x4 truck ive been having good luck with AC Delco steering parts, as dumb as that sounds, but i dont know if they make parts for 2wd trucks.

Yeah Moog was something I had considered but I keep hearing from everyone they changed.

AC Delco is looking good at this moment too. They seem decent. Just would have preferred something else. lol

I am not sure what I have in my 1997 4x4 but only put Moog ball joints in the passenger side since owning the truck.

All other steering parts are the same when I bought the truck except the track bar and passenger side Moog ball joints.

Put over 250,000 k on.

I did buy a AC Delco pitman arm joint to install to get rid of the slight play that formed.

What I’ve learned over the years is grease is our best friend, even though I hate the mess they make.
