Is it Slow At Where You Work

Ok, We've seen front yards and neighborhood scenes. How about the House you live in? What style is it, and what's it's living space size? Mine is a semi-attached 2 story that has is about 1300 Sq. Ft. In my area, that's just a tad smaller that average. Definetly not my last stop, God willing!

3200 sq. foot 2 story with the mandatory Tx. pool. It sits on about 1/4 acre. . with a whopping total of 4 trees. Use to be farmland... . so at least they are growing fast... CJ

My house is about 2100 sq. ft. , not large by any standard, but we have 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a finished rec. room in the basement. Not that you asked, but I heat 100 % with wood, using a Charmaster wood furnace. Last year we burned 6 cords and I ran out in late March, had to use the LPG for the rest of the winter @ $2. 00 per gallon, luckily my tanks were full and I didn't pay that price.

How bout a 56x32 pole barn with a 15x32 room for the pooltable. I've got a bath room, stove and 2 refrigerators, got to keep the beer cold.

ROTFLMAF!! Illflem, I always thought you would lived in a place like that. By the way, who is your latest penpal?!?!? Or should it be pinpal?

Big John

Something interesting. While searching the net for the picture of TK's cabin, I read that the theory going around now is that TK is innocent!! He was just a copycat and admitted blame just for the glory. I guess some investigators have proof that he couldn't have done all the bombing he admits. The FBI was also looking for glory and pushed it though just to have another case solved. I always wondered why the the unabomber picture that was flashed around didn't look much like TK.

BTW, I live in a nice 3 bdrm, 2100 sq ft home, 1600 sq ft shop on 60 acres provided with my job by the state of Montana. No rent, utilities, property tax or mortgage.

I live in a single wide (Tornado Magnet) on a nice 3 acre place by itself.

How else could I afford my Cummins Ram and BOMBS?

Cummins comes first, Bombs comes second, house will come after toys are payed for.

If the house came first then the only fun I'd be having is planting the ole lady's flowers on the weekend. :(

1600 sq ft ranch. 3 br's 1 bath 1 car garage(too small for the CTD  ). Were planning on an addition in the very near future. It's only the wife and I, so it's big enough. I do wish I had a basement. :(

Got another house in a nearby county. It's presently a rental.

Any members near Waterville Maine... . I know of a house you could have for FREE!!! You must move it. Costs $5000 to move it up to 25 miles. My Dad told me about it. He actually saw it and said it was pretty nice.

PS I've been heating partially with wood also. Vermont castings wood/coal stove. More work, but much nicer heat.

Wow EMD, 8900 Sq Ft! I can't imagine that! Some of the real high rollers by me are boasting 6-7000 Sq. so I know what that looks like. Bigsaint, what's the BTU rating of that charmaster? when I was a kid we heated partialy with coal in a Vermont castings stove, worked very well.

I hope nobody has to deal with overdevelopment like the way we are. In my borough of Staten Island, they have allowed builders to tear down real nice homes on real nice pieces of land and then jam in housing that is totally out of character- and out of price for people with middle incomes. I'm lucky we were able to buy our house when we did. My area used to be considered the "sticks" of NYC. Not anymore!

All TDR members are welcome at my place. Its like a museum here too. I have over 40 flight helmets from the Korean war all the way up to ultra modern versions. I have ejection seats too and LOTS of trains. If anybody is ever in the area, let me know. Also have plenty of room to work on Rams.

I have a one room 16x20 cabin, got the plans for it from my buddy and neighbor Ted.

Bill... ya can't fool me! Ted's house was on a flatbed headed south last I saw it! And besides, I know you don't have many neighbors, but his place was a long ways away, even via Hwy 200!

Building the compound now. 8 acres, wooded, creek, multi tiered land. 3200 sq ft (everything, 1/2 basement and garage included) walk out basement, all brick, limestone koin corners, dimentional shingles, 10 foot garage door (for big red:D ) 9 foot walls, 9 foot basement walls, cathedral ceiling, hot tub, 43x62 pole barn. I will put a pic up sometime. I am real happy with it. I have worked my a** off, some days only being off 3 hours between shifts (so has the wife... 2jobs+school). Its been a long 2 years of working and saving, but its starting to take shape and pay off now. I would be a little ahead, but I have this red truck you see and I have this urge to make it go real fast, and sometimes that takes out of my savings... ever had that problem:rolleyes:

EMD diesel... . what do I have to do to get the reflective tape off my flight helmet from the Marine Corps? It was mine that I used as aircrew on CH-53 helicopters. Flight Equiptment put reflective tape on all of them in case we ever went down in water, you would be able to see the aircrew with lights.

Its not chery by any means, but it was with me for some fun, exciting and sometimes scary times. I would like to clean it up and make it presentable so I can sit it out, maybe put it on and drive my truck around every now and again... I'm silly like that with my stuff:D
