Any sugestions on tire size. The tires on my truck now are LT 215/85R16's. I would like to go bigger maybe a 245 or so. Any help would be great.

I went with 235/85r16 looks good. Ive been told you go much bigger then you may need spacers to keep wheels from rubbing if you have a dually

I have a 98, 3500 dually. The ones on there are just so small. And doesn't taller tires help with mileage, and tire life?

Taller tires can help with mileage. It depends on how far you go and what your gear ratio is. If your running 4. 10 gears and not towing something a taller tire will help you. If you go to big and your ratio gets to high it can hurt economy. Also remember that as you go taller the parasitic drag increases for the tire. Also you push more air as the truck gets taller. There is a curve to this senario. As for wear obviously a bigger tire goes farther in one revolution but your not going to go so big that you'll notice much of a difference.

As for fit on your truck I can't tell you since I'm not familliar with dually specs.
