What's my GN trailer worth?

Talked to Cummins

I got this trailer in a trade for my previous bumper pull trailer.

Total length is just under 30'. I think it has a total of 26' of deck, including the dovetail.

It has 3,500 lbs axles, new E rated tires (I am pretty sure, maybe D). Ramps store under the dovetail from the side.

Trailer is nice and low and hauls and handles VERY well.

It is registered as home made as it was a bumper pull trailer that was converted to gooseneck. The conversion was very well done. But the daimond plate on the bed is a little wavvy because it doesn't have enough bracing. It holds heavy trucks without and issue, it just sags a little between braces.

I also welded some heavy angle iron over the fenders so I can drive the trucks with big tires over them without damage.

I really like the trailer for hauling cars and light trucks. But I often find myself needing to haul heavy, and I don't want to overload this trailer. I love trailers that TX Gooseneck sells, but I need to sell this trailer to fund the next trailer, and don't know what it's truly worth.

I recently bought a appalachain trailer- 20' plus 4' popup dovetail. I looked on E-bay for a long time. A negative of yours is home built, another negative is the light weight axles. A similar low profile car type trailer I have seen new for about 2300$- it was out of a place in illinois. I would not expect any more. Minimum everything brakes on one axle, 2 3500 Lb axles, 7,000 GVW. I would not tow that one if given to me. You could put the trailer on E-bay to see what it would get. I have seen goosenecks go for 75% of new and over. When bought new my 14,000 GVW with pressure treated deck 102" width ( deck over tires ) and a " hay hauler" a light deck over neck ( not for the shortbed crowd) ran to 4100$. Good structure, minimum on the wiring and paint ( scotchlocks). There are better built ones out there, with better features on the pop up dovetail, jacks, toolboxes, paint attention to detail, better wiring, welding etc, etc. ANd it adds $$. Brute, ew trailers and a multitude of builders are out in oklahoma and texas, have not heard anything bad. Very competitive environment. TDR member tx gooseneck has better info. If you do sell Fresh paint, clean arour all the tires, make sure the lights work. Move trailer and mow grass undr it. That is worth money- even though the basic trailer is unchanged- Presentation is everything. In summary- Surf E-bay under "gooseneck" You will see equivalents of yours.
