You are correct, this is a very real concern. In this case I don’t know what to recommend, but if I am buying just a bearing I will NOT buy through an open 3rd party vendor like Amazon or eBay unless the bearing in question is not real mission critical. Everything else has to come through a closed supply line like the OEM or a bearing dealer. You are going to get china wherever you go and more than likely to get a counterfeit [bearing] from the internet bargain basement dealer than anywhere else

Moog generally has a good reputation, so I would think they would put a good quality bearing into their front hub cassettes.
I see SKF on the rockauto list and I would trust them also.
This is why I like to buy through Napa or a good online retailer for critical parts
I figured I’d try the mood because it 100$ cheaper than NapaBased on what I’ve seen, NAPA around here will give you National bearings, and they tend to be Taiwanese made. Probably middle of the road quality.
I am getting a rumble from the passenger front on left turns. Looks like I am about to need to order some also. One thing about amazon and ebay. They are full of very well done counterfeits and the complaints go nowhere. This is an interesting page from the SKF bearing site on fakes.
