In a discussion with a couple buddies, I was under the impression that all of the 6.7 Cummins had EGR systems, and the DPF and DEF systems came on after 2011. Is this correct? if not, when ? Thanks for any info on this!

DPF’s came with the change to the 6.7 when they were introduced in ‘07.

DPF in all 6.7 DEF came later.

for the most part, all diesel powered road equipment in the USA has some sort of DPF as of 2007. If you remember, they mandated ULSD as taxed road fuel at the same time, to prevent fouling of DPF's. Ram is a little iffy as to exactly what model year had a DPF and EGr, just because they had 07 with 5.9 and 07.5 with the 6.7. as far as SCR goes, with Ram it depends on the model... that nice chart in th e post above lays it out better than I can..
